The BZ400 is a panel sizing saw for sheet materials and solid wood. The panel stays in place and the saw unit moves, so you can size panels and cut mitres on the same machine.

Before the saw starts, the cutting zone is already closed. The pressure beam lowers automatically and clamps the panel, with a force of 50 to 400 kg depending on the material. Slats close off the cutting zone, and the machine only starts when you press both start buttons at the same time. Together, this is called SUPER SAFE.

You enter the dimension and angle on a 12-inch touchscreen. The rear stop positions itself automatically up to 1500 mm and the saw unit tilts automatically up to 46°. Five dimensions and five angles can be recalled with a single tap. The scoring blade and main blade then cut in a single pass, at the same speed along the entire cut.

SUPER SAFE cutting process

Before the saw starts, the cutting zone is already closed. The pressure beam lowers automatically and clamps the panel, with a force you set between 50 and 400 kg. Slats close off the cutting zone and also improve dust extraction. The machine only starts when you press both start buttons at the same time, so your hands are on the buttons when the saw sets off.

Everything on one screen

You enter the value and the machine sets itself. The 12-inch touchscreen hangs above the machine and swivels horizontally, so you can make settings from where you stand. Two axes are controlled: the angle of the saw unit and the rear stop. The instructions are simple, so you learn to operate the machine quickly.

Sizing and mitring on one machine

You size panels and cut mitres without switching machines. The angle of the main blade and scoring blade adjusts automatically, from 90° to 46°. That extra degree beyond 45° ensures a glued corner closes properly. The scoring blade and main blade cut in a single pass, saving time on every cut.

Strengths

Less calculating, faster setup

Five dimensions and five angles can be recalled with a single tap. Enter the dimensions you know and the screen calculates the bevelled side, the strips or the arc. You don't need to account for the saw blade parameters, the machine does that for you.

An even cut from start to finish

The saw unit keeps the same speed along the entire cut. You set the feed speed steplessly from 10 to 50 m/min, depending on the material.

Signal light

You can see from a distance which stage the cutting process is in. White: machine ready. Green: motor running. Flashing green: cutting in progress. Blue: machine setting up. Red: emergency stop.

Lighter work

The moving saw unit and the adjustable tables make the work lighter for the operator. Suitable for all sheet materials and solid wood.

The Acurat label

The Acurat label stands for the new generation within the Robland range. The digital control keeps evolving, even after the machine is in your workshop: you get access to all software upgrades. Housing and controls are designed for comfortable work, finished in black with bronze accents.

Designed and built in Belgium

Pressure beam with slats

Lowers automatically and clamps the panel. You set the force pneumatically, from 50 to 400 kg.

Controlled rear stop

Positions itself automatically, up to 1500 mm.

Stop bar with digital readout

Extendable, with two stops, one of which has a digital readout. You set up a series once.

Adjustable tables

One table can be moved lengthwise up to 3200 mm. A scale on the mitre table shows the angle relative to the saw blade.

Emergency stop front and rear

Emergency stop on the screen, with an emergency stop cable at the front and rear.

Supplied as standard

Compressed air hose with blow gun and tools for changing the saw blade.

Extra stop with digital readout

More stops set at the same time, faster for series work.
