Two-step planing for optimal quality
Each table undergoes a precise two-step planing process to ensure the highest standards of Robland quality. Crafted from premium Belgian cast iron, this process is carried out in-house to maintain strict quality control:
- Initial planing (rough): The table is rough-planed to achieve a perfectly flat and stable surface.
- Final planing (smooth with microgrooves): The second step smooths the surface by gradually decreasing the cutting increments, eventually introducing our signature microgrooves. This reduces friction and enhances precision.
